Libby Sarjeant

Libby Sarjeant, former professional actor (actress?), lives in the Kentish village of Steeple Martin. In the first book of the series, she helps to solve a murder, with the aid of friends in the village, and meets another former actress, Fran Castle. They go on to become entangled with other murder cases, helped by friends, relatives and Libby’s insatiable nosiness and Fran’s occasional flashes of psychic insight. They tackle homophobia, people trafficking and sexual abuse. Not your average cosy crime!
